Help us Safely Reopen the Good Shepherd School
The Haitian Ministry of Education has mandated that schools reopen August 10 to finish out the 2019-20 school year. The 2020-21 school year will begin in November for the new school year. The school staff and Haiti Child Sponsorship leadership team is working hard to open in the best possible way to ensure the health of all the students.
Please consider a donation to help provide a safe and healthy learning environment for the students and teachers.
THE NEED:
- 2500 Reusable Face Masks at $1 each
- Build 12 Washing Stations with soap and bleach at $40 each
- 50 Healthy Classroom Kits (3 school thermometers, classroom sanitizers, gloves, etc) at $25 each
- 20 Additional Teachers or Extra Pay for Existing Teachers at $60 per month to add classes for social distancing.
- Extra funding for daily meals - This is ALWAYS an ongoing need as we work to feed EVERY student EVERY day at a cost of $300 a day.
